The “Learn Reading and Writing from the Mushaf” course at Elbayan Academy is designed as a spiritual and educational bridge connecting you to the Quran. Instead of using standard school texts, this program uses the Holy Quran itself as the core curriculum. You will gradually learn how to spell words, read verses smoothly, and engage in intensive handwriting and dictation exercises. Crucially, you will uncover the secrets of the “Rasm Uthmani” (the unique Uthmani script of the Quran), empowering you to read and copy any verse from the Book of Allah with complete confidence.

• Level 1: Quranic Foundation (Letters & Vowels)

  • Extracting and learning Arabic letters in all their shapes (beginning, middle, end) using short verses from Juz Amma.

  • Reading and writing simple Quranic words with the three short vowels (Fatha, Kasra, Damma).

  • Handwriting homework to trace and copy individual words directly from the Mushaf.

• Level 2: Essential Rules & Mushaf Secrets

  • Studying long vowels (Mudood), Sukoon, Tanween, and Shaddah using live Quranic examples.

  • (Mushaf Specifics): Learning Uthmani script symbols (e.g., the hidden Alif, silent letters, and unique spellings of words like الصلاة – As-Salah).

  • Guided transcription (copying) of short verses to apply reading rules manually.

• Level 3: Reading Fluency & Dictation (Imlaa)

  • Continuous, smooth reading of full Surahs while observing the pause marks (Waqf symbols) in the Mushaf (مـ , لا , ج , صلے , قلے).

  • Auditory Dictation practice: The tutor recites a verse, and the student writes it applying spelling and Uthmani script rules.

  • Concluding the course by having the student copy an entire Surah in their own handwriting as a tangible achievement.
